With the time change discombobulating the steady stream of measuring ones days, life is suddenly swamped with work to do and less time to do it in. Spring is here as we head into Palm Sunday plowing through but overcome with daily tasks.

Although this is not my own family photo, it does remind me of the newest photo discovered and shared during our family reunion this last weekend – a photo of my grandmother as a girl with two brothers we didn’t know she had….

As I was making my way down the main drag toward work, I looked up and noticed a woman in red truck barely looking at the road while putting on her make-up. I had not seen someone so meticulously focusing her driving onto the turned, rear-view mirror and switched lanes for my own safety.

The darkness of today’s morning was stark compared to last weeks well lit mornings. I turned light switches on to help the disoriented way I felt but was unsuccessful at making my way through the darkness without breaking a window slat.
